Methodologies You Will Learn
Theatre of the Oppressed
Theatre of the Oppressed (T.O.) is a form of popular community-based education that uses theater as a tool for social change developed by Agusto Boal and inspired by Paolo Freire.
Playback Theatre
Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. Originally developed by Jo Salas and Jonathan Fox.
Biographical Theatre
The Biographical Theater draws on the life and experience of each participant. It is not about realistically representing the experience of an individual, but rather a collective horizon of experience.
Improvisation Theatre
A form of theatre, in which most or all of what is performed is unplanned or unscripted: created spontaneously by the performers. Excellent for boosting creativity and emotional intelligence.
Embodied Storytelling
Using all our senses, as well as narratives as a vehicle for collaborative choreographic practice.
Embodied learning
An educational method that does not only offer an intellectual way of teaching, but also involve the whole body. By making it physical, the teaching material will be more effective, is the idea.

Why we do it?
One workshop at a time trainers, coaches, mentors, teachers and educators have great potential to bring positive change to other's lives, communities wellbeing and the whole world. CWM team has been witnessing the language of theatre applied during our workshops change lives, promote personal and group transformations, healing, growth and many other beautiful outcomes. Our trainings were designed out of desire to make theatre methods more accessible for trainers, coaches and teaches all over the world.
What is the target group of our trainings?
Our trainings are tailored for practicing trainers, coaches, mentors, teachers and educators with ACTIVE PRACTICE. It doesn't matter how long you have been active in pursuing your career. It is important that you have experiences to share with fellow colleagues and that you are willing to apply knowledge and competencies gained during the training in your professional activities.

What will the training be like?
We create a space where learning, sharing, dialogue and exchnage happens in a horizontal leadership structure. This way our participants not only learn the methods, but also from each other and from the environment we are at. Our trainings are learning by doing. You will learn about the methods not only from interactive workshops/presentations/lectures, as well as applying them DIRECTLY during the training. You will work on real projects and get live feedback. In addition, we have sessions to promote networking (if you are willing to find someone to work with in future), skill sharing and skill-development(to harness the power of knowledge and skills all of us come to the training with).
Who will be your trainers?
Every year we invite 3-4 practicing trainers and best experts in related fields. Successful and well-established trainers, mentors, facilitators, coaches and educators will share the best of their knowledge and experiences.

Additionally, we invite a practicing career/life coach to provide various insights/consultations to promote individual development processes during the training and beyond.
'Today we had a hands on experience of What Playback Theater is. We came into contact with this method's potential to create a commnity dialogue, raise awareness and create a safe space in which we explore personal and collective perceptions. I am grateful, that this training equips us with the tools needed for working with my target groups and beyond.''
– Katarina, Participant of Dramatize! training
