Here's exactly how we hold our own work to that standard — click through it.

A facilitator mid-session, guiding a group through a theatre exercise — hands open, energy in the room.

Every delivery is designed against eight questions.

Flip each card to see the question it answers. No design goes out if any card is blank.

Two modes

Delivery
What it is
A fully designed programme, tested and ready for participants.
How it's named
Named with its version number — e.g. "Rights in the Room v1.2".
What is logged
Full eight-element quality log, outcomes, debrief notes.
When it moves
After a quarterly review or a significant learning event.
Lab
What it is
An experiment — still being shaped. Participants know this upfront.
How it's named
Always carries the "(Lab)" tag — never presented as finished.
What is logged
A brief pilot log — what happened, what surprised us, open questions.
When it moves
Into Delivery only after a structured review signs it off.

The Human Rights Test

Every request we accept is tested against four questions. All four. Every time.

Question 1

Which right or participation principle is actually being practised — not only mentioned?

Question 2

Who has the power to change the plan?

Question 3

What would make this inaccessible — and what have we already changed?

Question 4

What will we refuse to extract from participants for a report or a feed?

If a request fails this test, it is a no.

Methods we currently stand behind

Five approaches that have completed our quality review and earned their place.

New formats are tested in our Lab and only join this list after a structured review.

How we check ourselves

Quality isn't a one-off review. It rotates.

  • After each delivery Facilitator logs the eight-element table. Debrief notes filed within 48 hours.
  • Monthly Team check-in: patterns from logs, anything worth flagging, Lab updates.
  • Quarterly Structured review. Lab formats evaluated for promotion. Methods list revisited.
  • Annually Full framework review. Evidence gathered. External feedback sought.

We date our first logged reviews on this page as they happen — not before.

This is the short version.

The full framework — definitions, ownership, and what counts as evidence — is one download away.
